How it works
Nina crafts customized guest portraits that truly capture the likeness of each individual, painting 10-12 guests or 5-6 couples an hour. Packages start at $1,300 for 3 hours, with the option to add additional hours at $400 an hour if desired. Booking 4 hours or more includes a free newlywed watercolor painted before cocktail hour or reception (an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour).
There is a guarantee of at least 10 guests painted per hour. If the minimum amount is not completed onsite, they will be finished in studio and sent to you by mail or pickup. Guests who had their photo taken but were not painted onsite (beyond the guaranteed minimum) can be painted in studio at a rate of $300 per hour and sent to you for your thank you cards.

How many guests are you able to paint live?

There is a guaranteed minimum of 10 guests painted per hour on your choice of 4”x6” or 5’x7” watercolor paper, with 4”x6” being slightly faster per portrait. The amount painted live depends on the length of your reception and the amount of hours booked. If the guaranteed minimum is not reached during the event, the remaining portraits will be completed in studio and mailed to you for your thank you cards.
Can I add more hours to my initial booking?

Bookings start at 3 hours but additional hours can be added at a rate of $400 per hour if demand is greater than anticipated.
Is there a limit to the amount of guests that can be painted in studio?

If guests had their photo taken for a portrait, but it was not completed onsite, the additional guest photos can be painted in studio at a rate of $300 per hour. For example, if you book 3 hours and 30 guests are painted out of 60 guests who had their photo taken, the remaining guests can be painted in studio for $900. There is no limit to the amount of guests that can be painted in studio but higher numbers may have a longer turnaround time.
Is it possible to book a live canvas painting and live guest portraits?

Typically only one service can be completed per event, but it may be possible to add guest portraits to your live newlywed portrait within certain limits. If your canvas portrait features your first look with a simple background, and you are ok with it being completed in studio, it is possible to add 2-3 hours of guest portraits later in the evening.
Note that bookings of at least 4 hours of guest portraits include a complimentary newlywed portrait on watercolor paper that is slightly more refined (an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour).
Is there a limit to the group size guests can pose in?

Guests can pose solo or in a group, but they are asked to pose only once to ensure every guest has a chance to get a portrait. If, for example, a group of three friends pose together, only one will be able to take the portrait home. Individual guests will not be painted more than once.
